Text

(a)A licensee is subject to the insurance laws of this state, including those concerning privacy, market conduct, and unfair trade practices acts.
(b)A licensee shall:
(1)Comply with other consumer protection and market conduct standards that the Insurance Commissioner considers necessary; and (2) Counsel enrollees in the health insurance marketplace in this state about options in Medicaid, the federal Children's Health Insurance Program, and other health insurance coverage.

L. No. 111-148, as amended by Pub. L. No. 111-152, and any amendments thereto, or regulations or guidance issued under those federal statutes; or (2) A health insurance marketplace is initiated and is operable in this state..
