Text

An insurer may invest in the obligations, or stock where stated, of the following agencies of the United States Government, whether or not the obligations are guaranteed by the United States Government:

(1)Commodity credit corporation;
(2)Notes, bonds, debentures, or other similar obligations issued by the Federal Land Banks, Federal Intermediate Credit Banks, or Banks for Cooperatives, or any other obligations issued pursuant to the provisions of an act of Congress known as the Farm Credit Act of 1971 and acts amendatory thereto;
(3)Federal home loan banks, and stock thereof;
(4)Federal National Mortgage Association, and stock thereof, when acquired in connection with the sale of mortgage loans to the association; and (5) Any other similar agency of the United States Government and of
