Text

(a)If any person willfully does or causes any act whatever, whereby any building, construction, or work of any railroad corporation in this state, or any engine, machine, structure, or any matter or thing appertaining to the railroad corporation shall be stopped, obstructed, injured, impaired, weakened, or destroyed, the person so offending shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall forfeit and pay to the railroad corporation so injured, etc., treble the amount of damages sustained by means of such an offense.
(b)All penalties imposed by this section may be sued for by the prosecuting attorney and in the name of the people of the State of Arkansas in any court of this state having competent jurisdiction.
