§ 23-115-306 — Special salary allowances

(a)With the approval of the Legislative Council or, if the General Assembly is in session, the Joint Budget Committee, the Governor may establish the salary of the Director of the Office of the Arkansas Lottery, the salary of the office's gaming director, and the salary of the office's internal auditor, that is up to fifty percent (50%) above the maximum pay level for the grade assigned to the title.
(b)With the approval of the Legislative Council or, if the General Assembly is in session, the Joint Budget Committee, the Director of the Office of the Arkansas Lottery may establish salaries that exceed the maximum pay level for the grade assigned to the title by no more than twenty-five percent (25%) for no more than ten percent (10%) of the positions authorized in § 23-115-305 .
