Text
As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)"Alcoholic" means any person who chronically and habitually uses alcoholic beverages to the extent that the person has lost the power of self-control with respect to the use of such beverages, or who while chronically and habitually under the influence of alcoholic beverages endangers public morals, health, safety, or welfare;
(2)"Alcoholic beverages" includes alcoholic spirits, liquors, wines, beer, and every liquid or fluid containing alcohol which is capable of being consumed by human beings and produces intoxication in any form or in any degree; and (3) "Alcoholism" has reference to any condition of abnormal behavior or illness resulting directly or indirectly from the chronic and habitual use of alcoholic beverage
