(a)(1) For the purpose of enforcing this subchapter, persons engaged in this state in the business of processing for intrastate commerce or transporting, shipping, or receiving in intrastate commerce livestock slaughtered for human consumption or meat or meat food products, or holding livestock slaughtered for human consumption or meat or meat food products, shall maintain records as the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture by rule may require.
(2)The records required under subdivision (a)(1) of this section shall show any receipt, delivery, sale, movement, or disposition of the livestock slaughtered for human consumption or meat or meat food products.
(3)A person engaged as described in subdivision (a)(1) of this section shall, upon the request of an authorized representative of
