§ 20-46-502 — Definitions

As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)(A) "Adults with long-term severe mental illness" means a person, eighteen (18) years of age or over, who meets criteria for service eligibility as defined by the Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services.
(B)Individuals whose sole disability results from alcoholism, drug abuse, or intellectual or other developmental disability are excluded from this definition; and (2) (A) "Intensive residential treatment program" means a nonhospital establishment with permanent facilities which provides a twenty-four-hour program of care by qualified therapists, including, but not limited to, licensed mental health professionals, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and li
