§ 20-27-705 — Definitions

For purposes of § 20-27-704 , this section, and §§ 20-27-706 - 20-27-708 :

(1)"Grounds" means the buildings in and on which medical facilities operate, together with all property owned by a medical facility that is contiguous to the buildings in which medical services are provided;

(2)"Medical facilities" means hospitals, including both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as hospital-owned and operated ambulatory surgery centers, hospital-owned and operated free-standing medical clinics, and human development centers as defined in § 20-48-101 ; and (3) "Tobacco" means cigars, cigarettes, pipes, or other tobacco-smoking devices.
