Text
(a)To assure the safety and accuracy of screening and diagnostic mammography and to promote the highest quality imaging in the most efficient setting to contain costs, radiological standards and quality assurance programs shall be established and administered by the Secretary of the Department of Health.
(b)To assist the secretary in establishing the quality standards, there is created an advisory committee to be composed of:
(1)The Director of Mammography at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, or his or her designee;
(2)The Chair of the Breast Screening Project of the Arkansas Division of the American Cancer Society, or his or her designee;
(3)A physician appointed by the Arkansas Medical Society, Inc., or his or her designee;
(4)A health physicist from the Radiation Co
