The Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission shall be authorized to apply to the Commissioner of State Lands for the transfer of any state-owned land or land the title to which has reverted to the state by reason of tax delinquency and which is deemed by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission as suitable and desirable for game or fish refuge areas or public hunting or fishing areas or other purposes allied to the development of wildlife resources and that are not suitable for agricultural or industrial uses. The Commissioner of State Lands is authorized and directed to make the transfers after receipt of sufficient proof of the nature of lands desired, and of the need of the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission for the land.
