Text

The county surveyors, as ex officio timber inspectors of their respective counties as provided in § 15-32-201 , before entering upon the duties of office, shall take and subscribe the following oath: "I do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Arkansas; that I will not engage, directly or indirectly, in the purchase for my own benefit, or for the benefit of any other person, of any of the public lands so long as I remain county timber inspector for the county; and that I will faithfully, and to the best of my ability, discharge the duties of the county timber inspector, so help me God."
