(a)(1) The Arkansas Forestry Commission shall consist of nine (9) members to be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate.
(2)One (1) nonvoting member of the commission shall be nominated by the Provost of the University of Arkansas at Monticello from the faculty or staff of the College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources at the University of Arkansas Monticello to be appointed by the Governor.
(b)The term of office shall commence on January 15 following the expiration date of the prior term and shall end on January 14 of the fifth year following the year in which the term commenced.
(c)Any vacancies arising in the membership of the commission for any reason other than expiration of the regular terms for which the members were appointed shal
