Text
It is the intent of the General Assembly:
(1)To assist growing, technology-based enterprises by:
(A)Attracting and retaining highly trained science and engineering postdoctoral graduates by encouraging the establishment of career opportunities within the State of Arkansas;
(B)Providing scientific expertise to emerging technology-based enterprises by helping them hire postdoctoral graduates to address the needs of these businesses; and (C) Developing a growing core of scientific job talent in Arkansas by attracting and retaining postdoctoral science and engineering graduates; and (2) That the establishment of the postdoctoral science and engineering grant program shall benefit the State of Arkansas as a whole and that provisions be made to ensure that all parts of the state have an oppor
