Text

The two (2) commissioners representing the State of Arkansas as provided by Section 9.01 of the compact ratified by this subchapter shall be designated as follows:

(1)The Secretary of the Department of Agriculture or such other state agency as may hereafter succeed to the powers and responsibilities of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission; and (2) Any individual who resides within the basin of the Red River and its tributaries in Arkansas, to be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate and to serve a term of seven (7) years.
