§ 15-21-201 — Division of Land Surveys - Creation

(a) There is created the Division of Land Surveys of the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office. (b) The primary functions of the division shall be the establishment, maintenance, and preservation of land monuments, section corners, and other physical accessories of the United States Public Land Survey within the State of Arkansas, the field notes, plats, and other documents relating and evidencing the United States Public Land Survey, and the prescribing of general land survey regulations.
