Text

(a)The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission shall consist of nine (9) members who are residents and electors of this state, to be appointed by the Governor and with the advice and consent of the Senate.
(b)Each congressional district shall be represented by membership on the commission.
(c)For each member appointed to a regular term, the term of office shall commence on January 15 following the expiration date of the prior term and shall end on January 14 of the fifth year following the year in which the regular term commenced.
(d)Any vacancies arising in the membership of the commission for any reason other than expiration of the regular terms for which such members were appointed shall be filled by appointment by the Governor and to be thereafter effective until the expiration of th
