Text

(a)The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism shall administer and establish the Arkansas Great Places Program to:
(1)Provide planning and financial assistance to eligible organizations for community development; and (2) Combine resources of state government in an effort to showcase the unique and authentic qualities of communities, regions, neighborhoods, and districts that make those locations exceptional places to work and live.
(b)The Arkansas Economic Development Commission shall provide assistance to the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism in administering and establishing the program.
