§ 14-72-303 — Submission of question to electors - Special election

(a) If the county court decides that it would be advantageous to issue bonds under the authority of Arkansas Constitution, Amendment 17 [repealed], this section, and §§ 14-72-301 , 14-72-302 , and 14-72-304 - 14-72-307 , it shall order the submission of the question to the qualified electors of the county at a special election to be held in accordance with § 7-11-201 et seq. (b) In all other respects, the special election shall be held as provided by law for the conducting of general elections. It is made the duty of the sheriff of the county, by proclamation duly made and published for the time and in the manner provided by law, to give notice of the time and place of holding the election.
