Text
The general purpose of the planning commission is to:
(1)Prepare, or have prepared, a plan of the municipality;
(2)Receive and make recommendations on public and private proposals for development;
(3)Prepare and administer planning regulations;
(4)Prepare and transmit to the legislative body recommended ordinances implementing plans; and (5) Advise and counsel the city government and other public bodies.
