§ 14-47-111 — Refusal of director to serve

(a) A person who has been elected or appointed a director and neglects or refuses to qualify and serve as such is guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than three hundred dollars ($300). (b) However, the directors, for good cause shown, may permit a director to resign.
