Text
It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to:
(1)Authorize the establishment and prescribe the procedure for the establishment of improvement districts for the purpose of providing ambulance services to residents of the districts;
(2)Prescribe the procedure for assessing the property in the ambulance service improvement district to finance the services; and (3) Support emergency medical services and ambulance operations that are necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the ambulance service improvement district.
