Text
(a)The voting places shall be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. on the date of the election.
(b)Upon the closing of the voting places, the ballots shall be canvassed and the result of the election certified by the judges and clerks of the election at each voting place as expeditiously as possible.
(c)The certificate of the results of the election shall be signed by the judges and clerks at each voting place and the certificate, together with the original ballots cast at the election, shall be delivered not later than two (2) days after the date of the election by the judges holding the election, or by any one of them designated for that purpose, to the secretary of the district who shall keep and preserve the original ballots in a safe place for the time and for the purposes
