Text

(a)There is created the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board, which shall advise the Secretary of the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, the Director of the Division of Arkansas Heritage, and staff of the Delta Cultural Center on:
(1)The development of permanent and temporary exhibits;
(2)A plan for the acquisition of resource materials; and (3) The development of educational and other programming.
(b)(1) The board shall consist of eleven (11) members.
(2)(A) The members shall be appointed by the Governor. The members appointed by the Governor shall be subject to confirmation by the Senate. The Governor shall make the appointments in such a manner that each race or ethnic group having a significant presence in the Arkansas Delta region shall be adequately represented o
