Text

(a)No person shall be employed or associated in any capacity in any emergency management organization established under this chapter who:
(1)Advocates or has advocated a change by force or violence in the constitutional form of the United States Government or of this state or the overthrow of any government in the United States by force or violence; or (2) Has pleaded guilty or nolo contendere to or been found guilty of any subversive act against the United States or is under indictment or information charging any subversive act against the United States.
(b)The Director of the Division of Emergency Management and persons he or she may designate from the state and local offices of emergency management staffing patterns shall be sworn public safety officers as defined and limited by this
