§ 12-61-121 — Awards, medals, etc
Arkansas·Title 12
(a)(1) The Governor may award in the name of the State of Arkansas a medal, ribbon, or decoration for exceptional or meritorious service rendered by a member of the organized militia, including without limitation the:
(A)"Arkansas Commendation Medal";
(B)"Arkansas Distinguished Service Medal"; and (C) "Arkansas Star of Honor".
(2)The Governor or Adjutant General may award in the name of the State of Arkansas an:
(A)Honorary award to a civilian employee of the Arkansas National Guard in recognition of his or her noteworthy accomplishments, including without limitation the:
(i)"Arkansas Distinguished Civilian Service Medal";
(ii)"Arkansas Meritorious Civilian Service Medal";
(iii)"Arkansas Civilian Service Commendation Medal"; and (iv) "Arkansas Civilian Service Achievement Medal"; a
