Text
A local correctional facility is encouraged to:
(1)Adopt independently, or in collaboration with other local correctional facilities or nongovernmental law enforcement entities, a screening tool designed to screen inmates or other detainees for a behavioral health impairment, substance abuse issues, and criminogenic risk; and (2) Utilize the database maintained by the Arkansas Crime Information Center under § 12-12-219 concerning entry of data and information collected from inmates at a local correctional facility.
