Text

(a)A correctional or detention facility operated or administered by the Department of Corrections shall establish a policy to offer a female inmate or detainee who is:
(1)Fifty (50) years of age or older but younger than seventy-five (75) years of age a mammogram screening every two (2) years; and (2) Forty (40) years of age or older but younger than fifty (50) years of age a consultation with a physician to seek professional care as to when to receive a mammogram.
(b)A mammogram or consultation with a physician under this section shall be at no cost to the female inmate or detainee.
