Text

(a)There is created a joint standing committee of the House of Representatives and the Senate to be known as the "Joint Committee on Energy".
(b)(1) The Joint Committee on Energy shall be a select committee of the House of Representatives and Senate whose members shall be chosen as follows:
(A)(i) Ten (10) members of the Senate to be named pursuant to the Rules of the Senate.
(ii)Each Senate member is authorized to appoint a member of the Senate to serve as his or her alternate on the Joint Committee on Energy; and (B) (i) Fifteen (15) members of the House of Representatives to be selected as prescribed by the Rules of the House of Representatives.
(ii)One (1) alternate member for each of the fifteen (15) House members shall be selected as prescribed by the Rules of the House of Repre
