Text
In addition to any other powers provided in this chapter, the authority shall also have all of the following powers:
(a)To improve, renovate, equip, acquire, provide, construct, and maintain Alabama state parks under the jurisdiction of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and public historical sites and public historical parks under the jurisdiction of the Alabama Historical Commission.
(b)To acquire by purchase, gift, or any other lawful means, and to transfer, convey, or cause to be conveyed to the state, any real, personal, or mixed property necessary or convenient in connection with the improving, renovating, equipping, acquiring, provisioning, constructing, and maintenance of parks and park facilities, public historical sites, and public historical parks.
