Registration of service persons and scale mechanics shall be for a period of 12 months, and shall be renewed each year. An annual fee established by the Board of Agriculture and Industries not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100), to be paid into the Agricultural Fund, shall accompany each initial request for registration or each renewal thereof. Application forms for registration or renewal, and testing shall be furnished and administered by the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries. The commissioner shall also furnish appropriate identification to persons registered as service persons or scale mechanics.
