(a)Beginning with the next term of office, in lieu of any other compensation or expense allowances now provided by law, certain officials of Calhoun County shall be entitled to annual salaries as follows: Commissioner of Licenses $35,000 Coroner $12,200 Deputy Coroner $2,400 County Commission Chairman $40,000 County Commission Members $16,500 Judge of Probate $35,000 Sheriff $37,500 Such salaries shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.
(b)In addition to the annual salary provided for the judge of probate in subsection (a), such official shall be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of his or her office in the preparation of voter lists.
