Text

The district attorney shall establish a pretrial diversion fund. The district attorney shall use the funds in the pretrial diversion fund to pay costs and expenses associated with the administration of the pretrial diversion program or for other purposes contained in other pretrial diversion programs in this state or for any purpose deemed necessary by the district attorney or any purpose previously stated in Section 45–59–82.45 and Section 45–59–82.48. The pretrial diversion fund shall be subject to audit every two years in accordance with state law by the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts.
