Text

(a)The district attorney may use application fees collected by the pretrial diversion program for the operation of the pretrial diversion program and for any purpose deemed necessary by the district attorney including, but not limited to, those listed in Section 45–59–82.45.
(b)The fees, if any, allocated to the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk for each case accepted in the pretrial diversion program shall be allocated, upon receipt of the full balance established, to the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk. The fee allocated to the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk pursuant to this subsection shall be distributed to the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk’s Restitution Recovery Fund as established pursuant to Section 12–17–225.4.
