Text
(a)The district judge of the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit, located in St. Clair County shall be entitled to receive an expense allowance in an amount equal to 90 percent of the total expense allowance and supplemental salaries paid by the county expense allowance paid by the county to the circuit judges of the circuit, payable in monthly installments out of the general funds of St. Clair County in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit. The expense allowance shall be in addition to any and all other salary or compensation payable to the judge by the State of Alabama, but shall be in lieu of any and all other expense allowances heretofore payable to the judge by the county comprising the circuit.
(b)The expense allowances provided in this section shall be payable retroactively to January 1, 1979.
