Text
(a)The deputy coroner of the county is to be paid one hundred dollars ($100) for each month he or she serves, an expense allowance of six hundred dollars ($600) per annum, and a mileage allowance of ten cents ($0.10) per mile.
(b)(1) Commencing on June 1, 2000, the Assistant Coroner of St. Clair County shall be entitled to an additional expense allowance in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per month, which shall be in addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law. This expense allowance shall be payable monthly from the general fund of the county.
(2)Beginning with the expiration of the term of the incumbent coroner serving on May 15, 2000, the salary for the coroner shall be increased by one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per month, payabl
