(a)(1) The City of Pelham Personnel Board is established. The board shall have three members, who shall be selected as follows: a. One member shall be elected by the regular classified service employees to serve the initial term, under this part, of four years. b. One member shall be appointed jointly by the mayor and the council to serve the initial term, under this part, of three years. c. One member shall be appointed jointly by the members provided for in paragraphs a. and b. to serve the initial term, under this part, of two years.
(2)After the initial term, each member shall be elected or appointed as provided in subdivision (1), and each shall serve for a term of four years.
(3)Any vacancy in membership shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner provided for the member i
