Text

In Shelby County, in addition to any court costs provided for in the county, additional court costs shall be assessed in the circuit and district court in the amount of eight dollars ($8) for the issuance of each subpoena in a civil case and in the amount of two dollars ($2) for the issuance of each subpoena in a criminal case. The additional court costs when collected by the clerk of the court shall be deposited in the Shelby County Clerk’s Fund and used by the circuit clerk at his or her discretion for the operation of the clerk’s office.
