Text

(a)The Shelby County Commission may adopt ordinances or resolutions providing rules and regulations relating to the use of its properties including, but not limited to, its public parks, recreational areas, public buildings and facilities, and real property owned or leased by Shelby County, or properties over which Shelby County has the right of possession. The applicable law enforcement entities located within the county or the county manager, or both, are directed to implement and enforce the rules and regulations established by the county commission.
(b)Any person who violates any ordinances or resolutions by violating any rule or regulation adopted by the Shelby County Commission pursuant to subsection (a) shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor punishable as provided by law.
