Text

(a)Effective commencing on the next term of office beginning on October 1, 2021, the expense allowance granted to the Shelby County Property Tax Commissioner in the amount of six hundred dollars ($600) per month pursuant to Act 2006–240, 2006 Regular Session, shall be converted to salary, and the expense allowance shall be null and void and shall be repealed.
(b)In addition to any other salary granted to the Shelby County Property Tax Commissioner, the Shelby County Property Tax Commissioner shall be entitled to receive any uniform increases in compensation whether in the form of cost-of-living raises or otherwise granted to any county official of Shelby County, and any cost-of-living increases or other uniform increases granted to the property tax commissioner prior to April 27, 2021, a
