Text

This subpart shall apply to all law enforcement employees of Shelby County but shall not apply to any of the following persons except as provided herein:

(1)Elective officers of the county or any municipality therein.
(2)Members of county or municipal appointive boards, commissions, and committees.
(3)All employees of county or municipal boards of education engaged in the profession of teaching or in supervising teaching in the public schools.
(4)The judge of any court.
(5)Any employee of the United States government or any agency thereof.
(6)Any employee of the State of Alabama or any departments therein.
(7)The chief deputy sheriff in the sheriff’s department, the operations manager in the sheriff’s department, and up to two majors in the sheriff’s department, each of whom shall b
