Text

(a)The Judge of Probate of Shelby County is hereby directed to transfer all records and lists in his or her custody relating to electors or voting to the Board of Registrars of Shelby County. The board of registrars, upon request, shall supply to the judge of probate from time to time such transferred information or lists as may be necessary to the fulfillment of his or her lawful duties.
(b)The duty of preparing and keeping up to date the list of qualified electors of the county specifically is transferred from the judge of probate to the board of registrars, and the board shall prepare lists and keep them up to date without charge to the county and shall furnish copies thereof to the judge of probate as are necessary for him or her to fulfill his or her lawful duties.
