Text

(a)In all general, municipal, special, and primary elections held in Shelby County, the compensation of certain election officials shall be as follows:
(1)The chief inspector shall be paid one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per day.
(2)The assistant chief inspector shall be paid eighty-five dollars ($85) per day.
(3)Each clerk and each worker assigned to canvass the vote shall be paid seventy-five dollars ($75) per day.
(b)This section shall be retroactive to the date of the November 2000 General Election.
