Text
The city clerk shall be the secretary of the board. It shall be his or her duty to keep a full and complete record of all proceedings of the board; he or she shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her. The city clerk shall also be treasurer of the fund and the custodian of all money and securities belonging to the fund. He or she shall be liable on his or her official bond as city clerk for the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon him or her by this part and for an accounting of all money, securities, and things of value which may come into his or her hands as treasurer of the fund.
