Text

(a)(1) Effective May 1, 2022, each member of the county commission shall receive an annual salary of twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) per year. The salary provided by this subdivision shall be in lieu of any salary, expense allowance, or other compensation provided by law on April 7, 2022.
(2)Effective May 1, 2022, the chair of the county commission shall receive an annual salary of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) per year. The salary provided by this subdivision shall be in lieu of any and all salary, expense allowance, or other compensation provided by law on April 7, 2022.
(b)(1) The county commission, by majority recorded roll call vote of the entire elected members of the county commission, may grant to each member of the commission, not including the chair of the commi
