Text

(a)The Russell County Commission may establish an additional fee to be entitled mail order fee which shall be set from time to time by the commission to pay the costs of mailing or overhead relating to business license renewals. The fee shall be collected by the judge of probate at the time of renewal and paid over to the county general fund.
(b)Each person requiring a state or county business license shall to continue to have the right to pay and receive his or her license in person without payment of the fee specified in subsection (a).
