§ 45-57-11 — Office Allowances for Certain Officers

(a)All fees, commissions, allowances, percentages, and other charges heretofore collected for the use of the Judge of Probate, Tax Assessor, and Tax Collector of Russell County, shall hereafter be collected and paid into the general fund of the county.
(b)The Russell County Commission shall provide each of the officers with the necessary quarters, books, stationery, office equipment, supplies, postage, and other conveniences and equipment for the proper and efficient conduct of the affairs of their offices.
(c)The Russell County Commission shall provide each of the officers annual allowances for the purpose of hiring clerks or assistants in an amount as is deemed appropriate by the commission.
