(a)(1) Effective January 16, 2023, the annual salary of the Coroner of Randolph County shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000) per month to be paid from the county general fund.
(2)Effective beginning the next term of office of the coroner commencing in January 2027, and each term thereafter, not less than 60 days prior to the first day for qualifying in the election for the term, the Randolph County Commission may increase and set the annual salary of the coroner commencing on the beginning of that term of office, and thereafter, as determined by the county commission.
(3)The salaries provided in this subsection shall be in lieu of any other salary, compensation, fees, or allowances provided to the coroner. The coroner shall waive any other fees or compensation in order to receive any sa
