Text
In each civil and criminal case filed in any court in Pike County, there shall be taxed as cost the sum of two dollars ($2). The costs taxed under this section shall be collected as other costs in such cases are collected, and when collected by the clerks or other collecting officers of the courts, including the clerk and register of the circuit court, shall be remitted to the county treasury and deposited and kept in a special fund to be known as the juvenile court fund and to be expended in furtherance of the purposes of the juvenile court in the county. The county governing body may make expenditures from the fund upon requisition of the chief juvenile probation officer of the county to carry out the purposes and provisions of this section.
