Text
At the general election of 1988, and every four years thereafter, the qualified voters of each district shall elect one commissioner from each district, who shall reside in the district from which elected and whose term of service shall commence at the expiration of the term of the incumbent. The members of the county commission shall hold their respective offices for the term of four years from the first Monday after the second Tuesday of January next after their election and until their successors are elected and qualified.
