§ 45-55-102 — Appointment of Superintendent

(a) The Pike County Board of Education shall appoint the county superintendent of education pursuant to the general law of the state.
(b)
This
section
shall
apply
at
the
expiration
of
the
term
of
office
of
the current county superintendent of education or upon any vacancy occurring in
the office of the county superintendent of education before the expiration of his or her current term of office.
